News - Naturediet Races To The Rescue

Passionate pet food manufacturer Naturediet has raced to the rescue of 42 greyhounds at Whittingham Kennels in Waltham Abbey. Johanna Beumer and her team are struggling to meet the costs of housing the retired greyhounds, which are the sad legacy of recently closed Walthamstow Stadium.

Now, thanks to a generous donation of 60 cases of high quality Naturediet pet food, the greyhounds are guaranteed a healthy diet to set them up for a new life.

Naturediet’s holistic approach to pet food is perfectly suited to greyhounds. Racing dogs are raised on additive-free food to maximise health and performance, and as such cannot tolerate the highly processed ingredients that are found in most commercial pet foods. Naturediet menus are free from all artificial additives, preservatives, colourings and flavourings and provide an excellent balanced diet for even sensitive dogs.

Whittingham volunteer Avril Roberts is a fan of Naturediet and feeds it to her retired greyhound Molly: “I find Naturediet so convenient,” says Avril. “It is much easier than preparing cooked food daily, is easily stored, well liked by greyhounds, and most importantly has natural ingredients without additives so it does not upset their stomachs.”

Naturediet is proud to help the Whittingham dogs. Managing director Robin Orrow comments: “Greyhounds have notoriously sensitive constitutions and can be fussy eaters. We have developed our range to suit all dogs and it is wonderful to know that these sporting dogs can benefit from our natural approach to overall health and digestion.”
